About Us

In May of 1984, hearts were burdened to start an independent Baptist church here in Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire.  People both need and desire a church that is faithful in doctrine with all teaching and preaching true to God's Word.  We pray continually to be that for the community,  them that know the Savior and those desiring to know Him.

The Scriptures according to II Timothy 3:16-17 that “All scriptures is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished for all good works.”  Also we are here to point people to Christ and his offer of salvation, (John 3:16, “For God so loved the World, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoevever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”  Also Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" and  Romans 10:9, “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”   The Church body is to assist believers to grow. (II Peter 3:18, “But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Saviour Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and forever.”)

     We enloy several mainstream english bibles and welcome you to bring what you have.  The past year has been focused on the New American Standard Bible as a formal equivalence [word for word translation] and the next season will be using the New Living Translation as a dynamic equivalence [thought for thought] translation.
